Last year I gave a movie-maker friend the seed for what I thought would be a great short-film (or even TV show) and he ran with it. Before I knew it, I was in his movie and being credited as a “Super-Genius.” This year, we had much the same process. I saw a commercial, said, “Hey, you know what would be a good idea for a movie…” Then he took the idea and made it a script. Next weekend, we’ll be shooting the script on sidewalks and in diners around the state. It should be a lot of fun, but this time I get to stay behind the camera — as a script consultant and “producer.”
In the year or so since the last film was finished it’s made its way to several film festivals around the country — even to New Orleans. So, in the days leading up to my second foray into the world of film, I thought I’d share the product of the first effort with you. Enjoy!
