Amanda Shires and Jason Isbell are today’s Johnny and June. I love them so much… but I love them even more since Shires released this single on International safe Abortion Day to support Alabama’s Yellowhammer Fund, an abortion fund and reproductive justice organization.

They’re practically Dr. Larch level heroes.

    Beautiful song! Nice to hear this morning as the Barrett hearing is going on in the Senate. I wish more could be as understanding as the couple singing here.
