Back in October I went to see Joan Osborne at the Highline Ballroom in NYC and was treated to a wonderful opening act in Matt Morris. My friend and I whispered to each other about how he had a Jason Mraz/Justin Timberlake vibe, and found out later that he is in fact on Timberlake’s record label.
I may be going out on a limb here–and surely Kanye West will attack me if he ever reads this–but I think Justin Timberlake is the closest thing to a muscial genius that pop music has these days. Now, if he could just convince Morris to forego the bandana I think he would have the perfect protege.
